Now that you've found the color you love, how do you make your manicure last? Tips for making your color last longer:
1. Wear gloves when doing household duties.
2. Don't use your fingernails as tools.
3. Make sure your nails are thoroughly dry before applying a base coat.
4. Never, ever polish your nails without a base coat. The reasons for this are:
a. If you want your nail color to last more than one day, you need a basecoat.
b. If there is any pigment to the nail color you are wearing, it will stain your nails if there is no base coat to protect them.
5. Skip the soaking part of a manicure. Instead, brush cuticle remover along nail beds and let it sit while you file.
6. Apply a nail primer, for example Lippmann Collection's 2 Second Nail Primer, before the base coat to cleanse the nail plate, and create a longer lasting color.
7. Apply a fresh glossy top coat every 2 to 3 days.
8.
